In the entry video clip, I suggest that Spock had an incorrect philosophy; he thought “collectivist (ie communist) group-think” needs outweighed the needs of the One……but there is only One Ontology, ultimately.
Spock did NOT understand the worth of One individual human being. Jeremy Locke explains the worth of One human being, in his book below.

But who is really, “The One”? Morpheus thought it was Neo, whose name is even an anagram for One.
Morpheus had the correct attitude, but he did not seem to realize that Neo was only symbolic of the Gnostic Goddess Sophia. Or else Morpheus would have said to Trinity, “You must get Sophia-Neo out! She’s all that matters!”
