My analogy is about changing the internal state of the electricity inside the illusory electrical world of the computer, aka volatile RAM memory. If you don’t save your work or the power goes out, you will lose your progress; the temporary physical changes you see in your Word document won’t sustain.
As Passio emphasizes, change MUST first occur on this plane of causality, but it will be temporary, unless flashed to hard-drive, the plane of effects. The plane of effects is our actual physical reality, likened to physically changing transistor states on the physical hard-drive. Now you can turn your computer off, and actual physical reality is literally changed, storing the change permanently, unless you fuck up and change it back. Seems humanity struggles with that.
