Oh my gosh, I can relate so much to everything being brought up here!! Haha!! As a mom, I experience everything Stephana is explaining; even her intense energy in how important these concepts are and her drive!! I can also appreciate Ryder’s points as a teenager, because I’m also around teens all the time. I see the way they operate. There’s a huge difference between the youth in Europe and the US. Their whole mindset is different!

I'm really curious about that. My younger son has a dear friend in Germany, and they talk daily I used to think it would be good for my sons to go to Europe and live for a different experience of culture and life but then I realize grass isn't greener and being here/wherever we are...is all we can really do/be.

Good Morning! Yes, I also have always valued the experience of different cultures. It helps young people realize the way their peers are, is not the be all and end all. We have family in the Netherlands, and our daughter has already been there a number of times; even by herself, when she was twelve. She has also attended different educational settings. So, now that she is in public school as an 8th grader, she knows her peers don’t know everything. There are other ways of living. It has shaped her to be more grounded and not easily influenced. Now with digital ID, I don’t know what will happen. It’s extremely liberal in Europe, but of course, going there would be amazing experience for your boys! :)

By the way, I really appreciate your energy on the show. I’ll look out for your presentation at the FUNL 5. I don’t know many moms in our age bracket, who also understand NL. Thank you so much!! 😀

Sincerely appreciate you joining the dialogue with us. There is far too much authority outside ourselves but I do think culture has gone off the rails and the majority are under mind control including Jiang and including myself. I feel I am trying to unravel myself from a very sticky web. Much of Mark's early podcast episodes were like sharp knives taking to the layers of webs and cocooning I was/am wrapped in but the knife has also pierced me deeply and I'm healing from that as I also detangle from the web. Not sure that's the best way to describe but that's what came to me visually to describe. Jiang's a bit of a blow hard, smart for sure but same old lame old...he's got good points of course but I'm fatigued listening to the "authorities" on all sides. It's just gotten me exhausted and I need the time in nature and all off to process and be. I think the best advice is KNOW THYSELF. and the only way to KNOW THYSELF is to...well, get to know thyself not listen to another "author"ity spout their next agenda, strategy, hook, plan, program or journey. This is just a season I'm in because I have and abundance of the certifications, levels, badges and t shirts from trying to get all the data from the authority and learn so I can "solve" and "fix" and "know"...and at the end of the day what we know is likely a pin drop in an ocean...

Glad to join and help in any way I can. You mentioned in the video that you used to "take the allegories too literally", Watership down and such. I can relate. I remember really being fascinated with "The Matrix" movie the first time I watched it, taking it literally as something that was possible, here in our virtual reality world. Years later, I understand there is some literal to it all (...quantum mechanics and such...), but not so fantastical as movies (and "holy" books) often show. I was about 30 years old then, still kind of literal. How old were you when Watership down terrorized you? Just curious. :-)

I seek the reality (ie parable-metaphor-allegory meaning) behind the literality (ie what the 5 senses can detect) these days. I came across a Gnostic perspective video, that might help understand some of the John Lamb Lash (JLL) Gnostic stuff: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qB64iKqcqPo&t=1s and how the Gnostics were NOT literalists.

John Lamb Lash is about 80 years old and still takes the Goddess Sophia story rather literally. If you watch enough of his videos and read enough of his materials, you will see the magical/fantastical thinking that guides JLL's imagination regarding it all.

Watership down was when I was young - under 10. Even Lord of the Rings --- I don't think I fully differentiated between reality and story. Just think about the bible. Complete allegory yet I remember going to mass and looking for ghost in the box and crying over the man nailed on the cross statue. So interesting. Unraveling all of this...just for what? My mind always seeks purpose - they WHY...I hate when I hear "because" lol BS and thus takes us back to natural law and cause and effect...they WHY is the result of the thought if we look at hermetic teaching..all is mental? I think therefore I am?

I think it's more like "I AM therefore I think". :-)

I AM is in the Bible as the "name" (...nature and consciousness of...) of God. Moses before the burning bush and God saying His name was I AM what I AM, or I AM who I AM, or I AM that I AM, depending of version. Jesus also said I AM statements (I am the bread of life, I am the light of the world, I am the way the truth and the life, etc....). Sophia also said I AM statements in a Gnostic book, highlighted here: https://spiritualcharlesdarwin.blog/about-author/

This Jiang video jumps right to the spot where he talks about trickery and slavery mindset (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hlHIN8tsz-g&t=795s). He talks about loving your mother is key to true mental freedom. So, you might want to give the link to Ryder. :-)

At the end of the video, Jiang tries to justify pain & suffering as something good for us that makes us better...he does say some nonsense sometimes! If he really believed that, he should go to North Korea and publicly say Kim Jung-un is an asshole and everybody should rebel against the government. Then he'd be tortured the rest of his natural life, in a prison cell, and that's good and would make him better, and give his life meaning. lol

I might suggest plug my pdfs into a reader. It might be less triggering to Ryder to listen to it then, if Mark's sarcastic & angry voice is not amplifying the negativity. Do you think that would help, if a computer voice read the pdf? I know the Edge browser has a voice translator built right into it.
